The Breitenbush Herbal Conference is family friendly and offers free childcare so that you can attend classes, enjoy some quiet time in the hot springs, and treat your child to a weekend of fun and play. This year we’re thrilled to have teachers Misti Lefevre and Arielle Spayd offering their Waldorf inspired, nature-based curriculum. Misti and Arielle teach at the Forever Flowering Children’s Garden and Friends of the Forest, and outdoor school located in Williams, Oregon.
Childcare will be available for (potty trained) children ages 3 - 12 and will include free play, natural crafting, forest exploration, watercolor painting, storytelling, puppetry, and plenty of fun outdoor games and adventures.
In order to help us prepare an age-appropriate curriculum, please sign up your child (below) no later than September 1st. If you do not register your child for this program, there is a chance there may not be room for them to attend as we will staff and prepare supplies for only those that sign up prior to the conference.
Please note: while childcare and event access is free for kids, lodging is not. Children ages 4 - 17 must register and pay for kids lodging.
Please arrive to childcare sessions a few minutes early and bring snacks (nut-free) and a reusable water bottle for your child.
